Need To Get Shit Done? Read This.

Sometimes you just need to put the blinders on. Live in the moment, but keep your eyes on the target. Know what you’re chasing after and hold it in front of you. Take your time finishing this chapter. Read every word with an internalized understanding of what they mean. Each word is just a word. How you interpret it is how you personalize it.

What are you trying to accomplish in your life that you’ve been procrastinating? You know you can get your work done, but you don’t want to. You know that you should take a jog or do some push ups, but it’s inconvenient. Everything is inconvenient. It’s all a matter of priorities.

So wake up. Take a nap when your work’s done. At the end of the day it’s okay to pass out and tune the world out, but when the sun is up and your competition is working, you’re already late.

Going to school is inconvenient if you’re trying to sleep. The gym is inconvenient when you work nine to five, it’s an hour commute, and you’re swamped with projects. Wake up earlier.

If you really wanted to go work out in the morning then sleep would be inconvenient.

It’s all a matter of perspective. Everything that is, just is. There is no limit to how many ways anything can be interpreted. Take a word, an object, a situation. Just how every person reading this has a different interpretation or your childhood home seems big as a child then small when you visit it several decades later, you can arrange your priorities in a way that propels you towards accomplishing what you need to accomplish.

So wake up. Take a nap when your work’s done. At the end of the day it’s okay to pass out and tune the world out, but when the sun is up and your competition is working, you’re already late.

Not looking back because our goals are in front of us.

Share this post if it pushed you to work harder today. Hopefully it can help someone else, too.

Break old habits. Make your OWN path.

DAY 1: Nobody sees the world as it is. Get that lie out of your head. Every thought or idea is conjured up in our minds through our perception of how we see the world. You can choose how you see the world. Most people don’t. It’s not because they CAN’T or choose not to, it’s because they don’t know. It’s not ignorance either. Phrases such as, “self-help books won’t do you any good,” or “I don’t bother wasting my time, and you shouldn’t either because I don’t. If you want to read, pick up a law degree, go to school and get a job for somebody else” are constructed through consistent information overtime convincing that person of how the world is to be seen. I can’t think of a single person who, while aware of their thought process, would choose to see the world anything but prosperous and full of potential.

I can’t think of a single person who, while aware of their thought process, would choose to see the world anything but prosperous and full of potential.

Now clearing your mind of thoughts, and living in the NOW is different than perceiving the world. At that point, you’ve separated your MIND from CONSCIOUSNESS and perception has taken a back seat. This idea is separate from meditation and being one with the universe. The future doesn’t exist. It can only live in our minds. When you become aware of the world around you, and I’m not talking about noticing how tall the trees are, the temperature around you, or this book in your hand. That is what is. Go deeper. Why is the tree there, why is it as high as it is. Why does your body automatically block out stimulus from the surrounding temperature. Why is it that it took thinking about the feelings around you, to notice them? Our bodies are here to survive and reproduce. It’s instinctual to live in a way that makes that process easiest. You body doesn’t want to spend time or waste energy letting you know it’s comfortable outside. It’ll alert you if there’s a change, if it’s too hot or too cold. This is a change in how you think. Just how you became aware of the physical stimuli around your body, you are becoming aware of the metaphysical stimuli inside your body. When you notice your cold, you take physical actions to change your body temperature. You get a sweater, grab a blanket, or turn the heat up. That process takes two steps.

  1. NOTICE YOU ARE COLD – This is when you become aware of your physical surroundings.

  2. TAKE PHYSICAL ACTION- You take action to change your temperature.

Translate this to the metaphysical world. Stay inside yourself right now. Notice your pattern of thinking. This may take days, weeks, or simply a reflection of old habits. You may think back to a series of what you believe were mistakes but you are now seeing as you read this sentence are turning into opportunities for change. You may have an “ahhh” moment when your thought process becomes clear to you. If it still isn’t, try writing down why you do things. Question even the simplest things from getting dressed in the mornings, to brushing your teeth with the other hand. We are creatures of habit and patterns.

“It’s easy to do what’s easy. It’s hard to question what you’ve always done. It’s harder to continue to challenge the norm.”

If you want to be normal close this page, turn on the television or grab the newspaper, and stay the hell out of everyone else’s way. You don’t have time for normal. No normal person ever did anything great. No normal person ever accomplished their goals. They just sat there complaining about how the world is so hard and their life is so tough, but never did anything about it. Here’s a first step – break your routine. You’ll reap the benefits DAY ONE. Treat ever day with DAY ONE excitement. Do it.

Learn To Bring Out Your Inner Greatness

DAY 1: The intention behind this writing isn’t to change your beliefs or customs, but to empower you to take action. Take all out massive action. Now. Don’t allow yourself to have a regret about not creating something. You could sleep another time. You could go to the next party. You could turn off your cell phone while you’re trying to get work done. There will always be distractions. There will always be people telling you that you’re not good enough, that you’re not worthy enough. The same wind blows on us all. The same people are on the side of the track telling us to get off, or on a smaller mountain yelling, “Don’t climb that one. Climb this one. I know someone who tried to climb that mountain once and didn’t make it!” We’ll I’m not that person. You’re not either. By reading this, you’re showing the world that you want to become more than who you are.

You have greatness within you and the more you read, the more you study how you think, the way you act, the way you do things, and reinforce that heightened awareness with all out immense action, the more you will see success. That first push to become something greater, to realize that you are not confined to other peoples’ limitations, only those you set on yourself is the greatest barrier the mind faces. When you can break the shackles of your mind and come to truth that all things are possible, you can build your empire. You can wake up in the morning and step into your dream because you can make your dream become a reality.

We attract what we think. Most people think like most people and keep getting the same results. All the time we hear that’s the definition of insanity, doing the same thing repeatedly with different expectations, well tell me how someone could think the same way their entire life and expect different results without being labeled as insane? That’s what it is. To be an early adaptor, an innovator, and entrepreneur takes vision. It takes seeing the possibilities and knowing they too can become a reality. You decide which path to take. Most people live in the past. Work didn’t go well today. My grades sucked last semester. I messed up at my piano recital, dropped the ball in the end zone, it doesn’t matter. What you can do moving forward to improve is what matters. Don’t forget the past. Learn from it, but don’t live in it.

Live in the moment. Enjoy each experience as it comes, and live life to the fullest. We were not born to go to school, pay bills, and die. I believe we are here to experience the world, and to bring as much positivity into the lives as others as humanly possible. We all make mistakes. Along your path, along your journey you will face doubters, there will be people, family, parents, siblings, those who love you the most may doubt you, they might say, “you don’t have to climb that mountain, you’re safe at home,” and their intentions may be pure, honest and genuinely to protect you, but your destiny is your decision. When you decide to chase a passion, to chase a dream that is truly yours and helps those around you, the support will be there. If your intention is purely deceptive, people will sense it like an animal senses fear, but when you connect from the heart and speak out of purity and integrity, it will be felt, and you will be rewarded.

How To Hold On To Your Day One Motivation

DAY 1: Stay true to yourself. There is no reason someone else’s opinion of you has to become your reality. You have the power to decide whether you will be successful or not. Success is not something that appears after long hours of hard work, it’s part of the very fabric of your being. When you connect to your intentions to better the lives of those around you, then by all means you are success. You can accomplish anything you want to accomplish and better the lives of those around you. We are not confined to our circumstances. If you want something, go out and take it. Fight for it. If you don’t get it on your first try, great. Go try again.

The best teacher in life is experience, because if we accomplished everything we set out to on our first try we wouldn’t learn anything. Life wouldn’t be fun. What makes us unique as individuals aside from aspirations and dreams is experiences. No two people will ever have the exact same experiences. You can put two of us in the same room, show us the same film, but we saw different movies. Our paradigms, our way of thinking, our way of viewing the world in that time period was affected by our experiences growing up. When you change the way you see the world, the world becomes a different place. If you think the world is full of negative people, then you will see a world full of negative people. But let me tell you, living in a world full of positive people where dreams, hopes, and desires can come true and all run free is a world you want to live in. This world is amazing, and our purpose is to experience as much of it as possible. We can’t do that in a cave. We can’t do that thinking the world is out to get us and hide out or set aside our goals or daily activities because we’re afraid of failure or afraid the world is going to judge us. You know what you’re worth. I know what you’re worth. Go out and get it. Hold up that first place trophy, hold up that second place trophy. Hell, hold up that fifth place trophy or that last place trophy. If you have given it your all. If you have woken up every morning and stepped into your dreams, fought through the tough times when you thought you were done for, and last place is the best you could do, you’re just as deserving of a champion as that first place winner, perhaps even more if they didn’t give it their all.

Character is not defined by wins and losses. It’s defined by how high we hold our head in our darkest moments. It’s defined by what we do onto others when nobody is watching. When all eyes are off us, how we act determines who we are.
